~WELCOME TO MY PAGE. ~AKA...NO BS ZONE ~

I'm just odd, overly sarcastic at times, internally optimistic, constantly intrigued, a believer, prefer few over many, hopeless romantic, but a dreamer all-throughout...from the books I read, to the clothes I wear, to the places I’ve travelled, to the movies I watch, to the music I listen to, to the men I’ve loved...this is my world, take a seat, relax and

just live in it...just feel me!

I am an independent person. I base my preferences upon what I truly like, as opposed to what is "trendy" or popular by the seething masses. For example: I like high heels and stockings even though many might see that as odd…who wears stockings and garter anymore - unless you are a exotic dancer. I like the natural scent of a man. I love heavy fabrics even though having "open, airy rooms" is in vogue right now. I like different types of men. For example: I am attracted to European men mostly because I love accents, and because most of the time they are eager to please you. I love the fact that they are most often very sexy and they speak my language of love. I love a rugged man that is in great physical shape; muscular or lanky. I love brainy men who can take me from one height to another level.
I have discovered both here online and in
real life that expressing my preferences results in immediate "displeasure" or chastisement from the people I am talking to. For instance, if I am talking about men, and I tell someone that I like a rugged type they immediately have something rude and asinine to say like... "Well, I suppose if you like to date the woodsman type fine " - the implication that liking what I like is somehow indicative of the fact that I don't have any taste or don't know what is good and that I am an idiot for choosing that person. Another frequent reply is. "Oh well, I guess you have no idea what I’m missing". Again implying that I am somehow deficient mentally because I like what I like. This is just one example of dozens I could give you. I seldom watch television and lately I have not been to the movies. So people often ask me "So what do you do with your time?" As though I am some type of deviant because I do not enjoy what they enjoy. Another would be Christmas... "What? You don't participate in Christmas?" "WHY NOT?" No I don’t fuck nut I celebrate Hanukkah. I appreciate all holidays but then again that may come as a surprise to many. The list goes on and on. It seems that if you are not some kind of carbon-copy clone of everyone else you are viewed as some sort of miscreant. I am wondering what your thoughts are as to why this is the case? Why can't people appreciate and enjoy the differences between us without being judgmental and implying that there is something wrong with you, if you don't like, think,do things the same way as "everyone else". Being unique definitely has its perks.
